Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2024 — Last updated: September 5, 2026
The Arkansas Culture and Dialog Center (“ACDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit arculturedialog.org (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form you voluntarily provide your name, email address, an optional note on how you found us, and your message. We collect nothing else that you do not type yourself.
Information collected automatically
Like virtually every website, our server receives standard technical data when your browser loads a page: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used only in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to maintain its security.
2. Third-Party Services We Use
We use the following Google and third-party services on this Site. Each operates under its own privacy policy and may set cookies or collect data independently.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site (pages viewed, time on site, general geographic region, device type). Google Analytics collects data through cookies and assigns an anonymized identifier to each visitor. We do not enable “advertising features” or link Analytics data to personally identifiable information.
Google Privacy Policy · Opt out of Google Analytics
Our Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google’s servers receive your IP address and browser information. Google states that it does not use this data to track individual users or serve ads.
Google Fonts Privacy FAQ
Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps iframe to display our office location. When the map loads, Google may set cookies and collect your IP address and location data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Google Privacy Policy
We use reCAPTCHA on our contact form to protect against spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA analyzes visitor behavior (mouse movements, keystrokes, IP address, cookies) to determine whether the user is a human. This processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Google Privacy Policy · Google Terms of Service
We use Google Workspace for organizational email and file storage. Contact form submissions are delivered to our Google Workspace inbox. Email correspondence is stored on Google’s servers and subject to Google’s data processing terms for Workspace customers. We participate in the Google for Nonprofits program.
3. Cookies
We do not set first-party cookies ourselves. The third-party services listed above (particularly Google Analytics and Google Maps) may set their own cookies in your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your contact form messages;
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Site.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
5. Data Retention
Contact form messages are retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for our reasonable organizational record-keeping, after which they are deleted. Server log data is typically retained for 30–90 days. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months by default.
6. Children’s Privacy
This Site is intended for general audiences of adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our Site, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided to us. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not sell personal information and collect only minimal data, most CCPA provisions do not apply; however, you may still contact us with any privacy requests.
8. External Links
Our Site may contain links to external websites (for example, Facebook and Instagram). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
